Executive Assistant/ Promotions Director
Cumulus Media of Albany has an immediate opening for a full-time Executive Assistant / Promotions Director. Applicants must have strong organizational skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Job duties include but are not limited to Supervising station contests including originating or adapting ideas, arranging prizes and listener events, maintaining accurate records of contestants, ensuring contests are conducted in accordance with FCC regulations and the law, represents stations at community events, promotions, coordinates activities of other departments involved in production of promotions and remotes, contacts vendors to secure all material needs for promotions, develops and maintains relationships with the press and broadcast media to ensure press releases, print advertisements and TV cross promotion, maintains and distributes promotional resources (van, prizes, etc.), maintains website elements, assist sales department as needed and assist business department as needed. This position requires a high degree of organizational skills, attention to detail, time management and a personal disposition that works well with aggressive and creative co-workers in both programming and sales. Some accounting experience is a plus. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills are essential as well as experience in website maintenance. Photoshop experience is not mandatory but a significant benefit.
