I was born in North Dakota, but before I started kindergarten my family moved. I consider Phoenix, AZ my hometown. As a kid, my serious side aspired to be a lawyer, a music or math teacher, or an architect. My fun side wanted to be a radio star like the DJs I listened to on my favorite radio stations. In my second semester of college the fun side won, and I switched my major from music to broadcasting. It turns out you don’t really need a college degree to be in this business. I’m married and have a teenage daughter. In my spare time I enjoy bike riding (cycling sounds too serious!), taking walks with my wife, watching football, and discussing the condition of mankind, our place in the universe, and whether we can change the deteriorating condition of the world.

Favorite Foods: Mexican and Chinese, but nothing deep-fried or breaded
